What we look for in the Irishman of the year

The William A. Boyle, Sr. Award is the highest honor given out annually by the Friendly Sons of St Patrick of Union County, NJ. This award is named after William A Boyle, Sr., a founding member of the Friendly Sons and a pillar of the Irish-American community in Union County for nearly four decades. This prestigious award recognizes and celebrates individuals who have exemplified exceptional leadership, dedication, and service to their communities and to the Irish-American heritage. Recipients of this award stand apart with outstanding contributions that further advance the goals of our organization and help promote a strong sense of pride in our collective identity as Irish-Americans.
